On Sunday May 27th, more than 60 friends, family and staff came to MDI
to help our Artist Development Program students finish recording their
song titled "Love is the Answer". Written and performed entirely by the students and staff
at MDI, Love is the Answer was conceived from the idea that harboring indifference
hurts --and that we all can make an impact in the world if we each do our part to effect
positive growth and change --even if in the smallest of ways...
Many thanks are due to everyone who joined in and helped the day be such a success--
From everyone who showed up and gave a heartfelt performance to the students who ran logistics
for their first MDI event. To Ken Buechs and Jim Benedict for filming the entire day and putting together the video, Denise Walker and Ocean Spray for believing in what we're doing enough to sponsor us. Bob and the rest of the MDI crew are busy finishing up the project and within a few weeks, you will be able to hear the song and purchase it.

Here's your chance to be on a CD that will be released Internationally!
Join us on Sunday, May 27, 2007 at 3pm sharp as the Musicians Development Institute's Artist Development Program faculty and students sing the tag line of their new single "Love is the Answer". Slated for International release this summer, the finished CD package will include the live audience performance, a poster of the participants on the back cover and a listing of everyone who participated. "Love is the Answer" will be distributed to traditional and terrestrial radio and be available for purchase at record stores and at MDI.
Proceeds from the sale of this song will help fund the new Artist Development Program Scholarship Fund, designed to help provide financial aid to musically gifted individuals that would otherwise not be able to enroll in these wonderful programs.
